our group have now cast two extra members to star in our production, we have also made the informed decsion that ourselves may have to act also. We have also written storyboards, screenplay and shotlists. We are now in the proccess of planning filming times.

i have realised that i am not working hard enough to gain a good grade - discussion with my teacher helped me to write this action plan

• personalise my blog; add gadgets to list hyperlinks / videos / photgraphs / web-sites
• complete a diary every day for three weeks
• upload mini-essays defining (and using quotes) director, editor, sound, in a film - source/cite opinions and beliefs from existing film-makers to support my points.
• upload photos/screen snatches that show the style i want to recreate
• add posts that evidence i have looked at key film sites

group discussion

here are my groups first draft video discussions on our influences for our short film and our basic ideas for the short film. We also talk breifly about the choice of music and mis en scene etc. We feel this will help when we come to film the final peice.

Project

In this A2 Media studies practical project, i and the group that i will be working with (Myself, Ryan Carman and Ryan Cross) will be making a five minute short film, a promotional poster for the short film and a twenty second trailer. The roles that each of us have been assiogned are as follows, myself : Co-director, sound technician, music research. Ryan Cross : Co-director, storyboarding/concept Ryan Carman : Editing, camera and ligting.
